Words: "I shine, not burn."
Associated Season: Leaf fall
FireClan have always had a negative reputation amongst the other clans. They are ferocious warriors and though no one can doubt the courage if the cats of this clan, their morals are another matter entirely. Over years of living in a deep evergreen forest the Fire cats have become adept climbers; the only clan amongst the territories to do so.
Beauty Standards
Ginger, golden, and black cats are considered especially beautiful in FireClan, though most dark colours are also nice. Lean muscular builds and tabby markings are favoured. White is considered very ugly. Amber and green eyes are both pretty, but blue is considered bad.
Attractive breeds for FireClan include:
Somali cats
Abyssinians
Bengals
Egyptian Mau
Turkish Angora
Fighting Style
FireClan are of the school that the best defence is a good offense. They are highly aggressive often not giving their opponents a chance to fight back and are experts in employing surprise attacks; often having some cats remaining hidden in tense situations just in case. So long as a Fire cat is attacking, they probably have the advantage.

TerritoryThe FireClan cats live in the densely packed evergreen forests to the south east. These woods have a dark forest floor where plants struggle to grow with light bloated out constantly by the green branches above.
The place has plentiful squirrels and mice, though in leafbare many of these animals retreat to hibernation. FireClan also has perhaps the most dangerous territory in terms of predators, with foxes and badgers making their home here. |
CampFireClans main camp is hidden deep in their forest. It consists of a massive red pine tree which is many fox lengths wide and so tall as to dwarf trees around it. It contains the dens for the warriors, apprentices, and the leader. The elders rest in a hollow beneath the roots of the tree, whilst the medicine cat and nursery share a log which is divided by lichen in the centre.

The oft contested border with their southern neighbour, FireClan has been known to be a little too generous in how far north they place their markers. It is a dangerous place to be should clans run into each other due to this and is usually not a place AirClan warriors will take their apprentices until they have some battle training.
|
The Spider Forest is an area of the territory that has been overrun by massive spiders. They make their webs between the bracken and scrubby bushes, and FireClan cats rarely set paw on the ground here. However, it is ideal for gathering cobwebs, and apprentices are known to make games of running through the webs to collect these for the medicine cat.
