Around a loch in the Cairngorms live four distinct clans; EarthClan, AirClan, WaterClan, and FireClan. They have lived here for generations cultivating in each clan their own unique skills, culture, and traditons.
It is said that before the clans moved in here the area was populated by family groups of wildcats, though these creatures have since disappeared from the area. It isn't too unusual for a clan cat to have some wildcat blood in them.
Territories
EarthClan live in the often wet and boggy moorlands.
AirClan live in the mountains, though the southern part of their territory contains some evergreens.

The cats meet every full moon at a place called the Cairn; it is a mound of stones at the lochs northern tip, and the place is covered is entirely in stone. The Leaders of the clans sit upon the tallest mass of rocks to address the gathered felines.
It is said that this is where the legendary Founders agreed the territories for their clans one fateful night, and their descendent now follow in their paw prints. |
To meet with their heavenly ancestors, the clan cats must travel to Moonpeak, the highest point in the whole territory. The journey is immensely tough but worth it, as at the top is where leaders gain their nine lives and where medicine cats receive omens.
Residing at this snowy mountain top is also a creature known as Peak; a wild cat who speaks very little of the clan cats tongue and has been there longer than anyone remembers. |
The nearest thing to civilisation surrounding the clans, the Croft is an area of farmland to the west of the loch. There is a group of Barn Cats that live here though they avoid interaction with the clans at all cost, often hiding should a clan cat tred on their land.
The fields here have some mice and voles hidden, but the main prey here is the rats that feed from the farm stores at the old barn. |
